Bozeman local guide
Hyalite Reservoir, in the canyon south of Bozeman, is the closest boating water. Friends of Hyalite says boats can launch into the 206-acre reservoir from the parking area at its north end or from Hood Creek campground, and that a no-wake rule limits motors to low-speed trolling, so it suits fishing boats, canoes and paddleboards better than ski boats. Boaters are asked to wash and dry boats and motors before launching.
Storage near Bozeman is spread across the Gallatin Valley, from Valley Center Road by I-90 to Belgrade near the airport and Gallatin Gateway to the south. Outdoor spaces are the low-cost option, and several facilities post rates online. For winter, enclosed space is the safer bet: Bridger View in Belgrade rents only fully enclosed units up to 14x45 with electricity, and Best Rate Storage on East Hulbert Road offers indoor RV units alongside outdoor parking.
Across our three Bozeman guides we currently list 5 storage facilities, 2 named boat launches and 1 boat rental business. Storage details come from each facility’s own website and the date we checked it. Dump stations and ramps come from OpenStreetMap. We never add prices, ratings or availability that a source does not publish.
