Fort Collins local guide
Horsetooth Reservoir, on the western edge of Fort Collins, is the city's main boating lake. Inlet Bay Marina, a family-owned marina on the reservoir, rents pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats and jet skis from April 15 to October 15, and says its annual slips and moorings were full when we checked, with Larimer County running a lottery for openings. RV Storage Fort also points boaters to Boyd Lake and Carter Lake as nearby options.
The storage we verified is clustered in north Fort Collins in the 80524 ZIP, close to U.S. 287 (College Avenue). Fort Collins Boat & RV Storage and Academy Boat & RV Storage both post month-to-month prices for outdoor spaces and offer 24-hour access, while RV Storage Fort sells covered 12x40 spaces for owners who want a roof over the rig.
Across our three Fort Collins guides we currently list 3 storage facilities, 1 RV dump station, 2 named boat launches and 1 boat rental business, plus 1 marina. Storage details come from each facility’s own website and the date we checked it. Dump stations and ramps come from OpenStreetMap. We never add prices, ratings or availability that a source does not publish.
