Lake Havasu City local guide
Lake Havasu City sits on Lake Havasu, a reservoir on the Colorado River. Arizona State Parks reminds boaters that Arizona and California share jurisdiction over the river, so you need to know both states' watercraft rules. At Lake Havasu State Park, the on-site concessionaire rents motorized watercraft, and the Havasu Riviera Marina, also a state park concession, has a six-lane ramp, slips and a fuel dock. Lake Havasu Marina on the Island off McCulloch Boulevard offers wet slips for boats up to 60 feet and a ramp open 24 hours.
Storage here is built around boats and summer heat, so most of what we verified is enclosed garage-style units rather than open lots. LakeFront Boat & RV Storage and Absolute Boat & RV Storage both say they are about half a mile from the Windsor boat ramp. LakeFront offers drive-through units up to 80 feet, South End Storage puts an alarm on every unit and has a free wash-down area and dump station, and Prestige rents air-conditioned indoor space.
Across our three Lake Havasu City guides we currently list 4 storage facilities, 1 RV dump station, 2 named boat launches and 3 boat rental businesses, plus 3 marinas. Storage details come from each facility’s own website and the date we checked it. Dump stations and ramps come from OpenStreetMap. We never add prices, ratings or availability that a source does not publish.
