How much does RV storage cost? It depends on three things: the type of space (open lot, covered canopy or enclosed garage), how long the space is, and where it is. Instead of quoting a national average, this page lists prices that storage facilities post on their own websites. Every price below was read on the facility's own page on October 25, 2026. Prices change often, and posted prices may not include taxes, fees, deposits or insurance, so always confirm with the facility before you rent.

Posted prices by storage type
The cheapest option is almost always an uncovered space on an open lot. A roof costs more, and a fully enclosed garage costs the most. One facility shows all three on the same page:
- Arrowhead RV & Boat Storage, Phoenix area: uncovered spaces from 10' x 21' to 11' x 41' run $83 to $140 a month. Covered spaces run $175 a month for 11 x 30 up to $255 for 11 x 44. Finding cheaper storage
These are patterns in the posted prices above, not a promise that any facility will match them:
- Uncovered is usually cheapest: at every facility above that lists both, an open space costs less than a covered one of similar length.
- Shorter spaces cost less: every length-banded price list above goes up as the length goes up, so measure your RV, hitch included, before you choose.
- Rural and lake-area lots can be lower: for example, Lake Travis lists $60 for open gravel parking. These spaces often have waiting lists.

Why do some facilities not post prices?

Do posted prices include everything?
